38Publishing a story: web and headsets
Publishing opens with the "Gérer la publication" (manage publication) button, available when hovering the story card as well as in the editor. A story with errors cannot be published: the button says so ("Corrigez les erreurs dans la story pour pouvoir la publier") and the editor offers "Voir le détail des erreurs" (see error details).
The "Diffusion de la story" (story broadcast) window rests on two independent switches: "Activez la publication sur le web et l'application easykiosk360" (enable web and easykiosk360 app publication), which makes the story reachable through a public link (the same link for web and app), and "Activez la publication sur les casques" (enable headset publication), which makes it available to your devices through "Organisation des contenus" (content organisation). You can enable either, or both.

Web broadcast options
As soon as web publication is on, the Options panel reveals itself:
- "Ajouter au portfolio" (add to portfolio): the story joins your public showcase (see part 8).
- "Authentification": who can open the link. "Public" (everyone), "Mot de passe requis" (password required: a password field appears, pre-filled with a random password you can replace) or "Compte requis" (account required, reserved for your users). The last two modes depend on your subscription plan.
- The preview image and the "Description": the thumbnail and text picked up when the link is shared.
- "L'utilisateur peut reprendre la story" (the user can resume the story): the visitor picks up where they left off, remembered by their browser.
- "Mode Commentaire" (comment mode): allows the visitor to comment on the story.

Sharing the story
- "Lien" (link): the public short link. It is created on its own as soon as web publishing is switched on, and appears in a field headed "URL", with a "Copier" (copy) button. The "Générer le lien" (generate the link) button only shows as a last resort, if no link could be established, and a "Réessayer" (retry) button takes over on failure.
- "Code de partage" (share code): a short code to type into the easykiosk360 app to open the story. It is the suffix of the link: no link, no code.
- QR code: the link as a QR code, downloadable for your printed material.
- Social networks: direct sharing by copy, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, e-mail or SMS, plus an SMS send from the platform.
- "iframe pour votre site internet": the embed code to paste into your website, with "Copier l'iframe".
39Updating and stopping the broadcast
Publishing does not freeze the story: you keep editing it, and the broadcast version stays unchanged until you explicitly update it. As soon as the version being edited differs from the broadcast one, the "Mettre à jour" (update) button activates. That is the only signal: its tooltips read "Votre story est à jour" (your story is up to date), "Votre story n'est pas publiée" (your story is not published) or "Corrigez les erreurs dans la story pour pouvoir mettre à jour" (fix the errors in the story before updating). The update replaces the broadcast version without changing the public link or the share code, and runs without a confirmation step.
Stopping is done by flipping the broadcast window's switches back. An "Arrêt de la diffusion" (broadcast stop) dialog asks for confirmation, with a message depending on the channel: for headsets alone, the story is removed from your devices and from every "Organisation des contenus" group; for web alone, the public link stops working; when cutting the last channel, "La story ne sera plus disponible pour vos casques et sur internet" (the story will no longer be available for your headsets and on the internet).

40Pairing and managing headsets
The "Mes appareils" (my devices) page (GESTION menu) lists your headsets and tablets, in a "Tous les appareils" (all devices) tab completed by one tab per box. On accounts whose contract is managed, a counter next to the "Ajouter un appareil" (add a device) button shows how many devices are used out of the total allowed. Other accounts see instead a "Licences d'appareils" (device licences) panel, which separates "actifs" (active), "utilisables" (usable) and "disponibles" (available) licences and offers "Acheter des licences" (buy licences). The same panel appears in "Mon compte".

Pairing a device
- On the device, launch the easyviewer360 app: a pairing code shows on the headset's screen. To install it, here is the Meta Quest example: install easyviewer360 on Meta Quest.
- On the platform, Mes appareils page, click "Ajouter un appareil" (add a device).
- In the "Code d'appairage" (pairing code) box, type the code shown by the device, then confirm. The Enter key confirms as soon as the four digits are in. On error: "Code invalide".
- The device appears in the list; rename it right away (Nom column), a fleet of anonymous headsets quickly becomes unmanageable.

Per-device settings
The device table shows each one's state (online or not, model, version, available space, battery, share of installed media, last connection) and its behaviour switches:
- "Mise à jour automatique" (automatic update): the device syncs its content on its own.
- "Autonome" (standalone): ticked, the device runs by itself; unticked, it is driven by a control tablet.
- "Bloqué" (locked): locks the device onto its content.
- "Administrateur", plus attachment to a Box and a Utilisateur (user): who owns the device, and which content it receives.
Each row also offers remote actions: locate the device, restart it, switch it off, "Oubliez l'appareil" (forget the device, i.e. unpair it; the confirmation is headed "Supprimer l'appareil", delete the device), "Installer le contenu" (install the content) and "Options avancés" (advanced options), which opens a window headed "Options avancées des casques" (advanced headset options): controller detection, "Alimentation par USB" (USB power), which shuts the headset down when the cable is unplugged and boots it when it is plugged back in, automatic story restart when the user puts the headset on, and "Temps d'inactivité avant redémarrage" (idle time before restart), from 5 to 30, which only becomes active when the automatic restart is switched on.
41Boxes, kiosk mode and the headset home
A box is a dedicated account grouping headsets and the content they receive: one box for the training room, another for the trade show, each with a password generated at creation. The "Mes box" (my boxes) page lists them: name, "Créé par" (created by), description, number of projects, last update, plus two columns with no heading, one showing the password, the other the remaining activity time as a number of days, "Illimité" (unlimited) or "Expiré" (expired). "Nouvelle Box" creates one.

A box's form is organised in tabs: "Information" (the name, preferably in letters, digits and dashes, the check not being blocking; the description; the "Période d'activité" with its start and end dates), "Story d'accueil" (the story offered first on the box's headsets), "Contenu de la Box" (the content groups, built in "Organisation des contenus", that its headsets receive) and, if the "Utilisation en borne" (kiosk use) switch is on, "Options de la borne" (kiosk options).
Those content groups are built separately, in "Gestion" > "Organisation des contenus" (management > content organisation). The page holds two blocks. At the top, the "Story d'accueil" (home story) card and its "Sélectionner" (select) button: the story offered by default in the headset home of your account, a box's "Story d'accueil" tab doing the same thing box by box. Below, "Créer ou modifier vos groupes de contenus" (create or edit your content groups), with its "Créer un nouveau groupe" (create a new group) button and a search field. A group has three tabs: "Général" (the title), "Sélectionner des Stories" (select stories, where only stories published to headsets are offered) and "Sélectionner des Medias" (select media). A group therefore also distributes standalone media, to headsets and to the control tablet. This is what lets you send the same content to a whole fleet without attaching it headset by headset.

Kiosk mode
Kiosk mode turns the setup into a self-service station: between two uses, a waiting video (a regular, non-360 video, picked in the kiosk options tab) plays to draw passers-by. It is the setting for unattended installations: reception hall, trade show, museum.
The headset home
The "Accueil des casques" (headset home) page (GESTION menu), titled INTERFACE D'ACCUEIL (welcome interface) once opened, customises the welcome hall shown in the headset before a story launches, with a real-time 3D preview: the "Cadre" (a regular presentation image), the "Image de fond" (a 360 panorama wrapping the user) and the "Ambiance sonore" (ambient music).

42SCORM export for your training platform
To integrate a story into a training platform (an LMS), the Links block of the broadcast window offers "Export SCORM". The export produces a .zip file in SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 format, your choice. That package does not contain the story: it contains a launcher that opens, inside the LMS page, the story as it is broadcast online. Three consequences: keep web broadcasting switched on, the learner needs internet access, and a complete stop of the broadcast makes the module inoperative until a new export. "Mettre à jour" (update), on the other hand, refreshes the module without a new import. The pass mark sent to the LMS is fixed at 75%.
Result reporting relies on a Debriefing event marked "Fin de la Story" (end of story): it is what closes the module and carries the score. That box only exists on a debriefing set to "Au clic" (on click); in "Automatique" it is greyed out. If your story has none, the platform warns you at export time: "Aucun evènement débriefing avec l'option fin de story trouvé ! Voulez-vous continuer ?" (no end-of-story debriefing event found, do you want to continue?). Add the debriefing before exporting, rather than pushing through.
