Explanation

easycontrol360 is the software installed on the control tablet provided with each easybox360 case. It allows the presenter to manage all VR headsets simultaneously from a single screen: launch uniform or per-headset differentiated playback, monitor each device's battery and storage in real time, mirror any headset's display on the tablet, control audio volume, recenter the view, or shut down headsets remotely. The application also includes an annotation module for drawing or writing directly in users' field of view, as well as a live dashboard for tracking Story progress and built-in quiz results.

Real-world example

During a corporate fire safety training, the instructor uses easycontrol360 on their tablet to stream the same VR scenario to 10 headsets, monitor each trainee's progress, circle a fire extinguisher as an annotation to draw the group's attention, then review the end-of-session quiz scores in real time.

Practical applications

  • Simultaneous VR content broadcast to a fleet of headsets during training or events
  • Real-time monitoring of each headset's battery and storage before a session
  • Screen mirroring to check what a participant sees without removing their headset
  • Sending annotations or drawings directly into users' field of view

Key features

Fleet management

  • Uniform or per-headset differentiated playback
  • Device naming, updates, and content management for each headset
  • Real-time battery level, available storage, and connection status

Example: Before a client demo, the sales rep checks at a glance that all 6 headsets are charged and up to date via the easycontrol360 dashboard

In-session control

  • Screen mirroring from any headset to the tablet
  • Remote audio volume control, view recentering, and headset shutdown
  • Live annotations and drawings sent directly into headsets

Example: A trainer circles a danger zone on the tablet and the annotation instantly appears in every trainee's field of view

Tracking and statistics

  • Real-time progress tracking for each participant across Stories
  • Live quiz results displayed on the tablet
  • Administrator mode for advanced configuration and presenter mode for simplified facilitation

Example: At the end of a session, the trainer displays quiz scores directly from easycontrol360 to debrief with the group

Why it matters in professional VR

  • Enables a single facilitator to manage up to 30 headsets simultaneously without technical expertise
  • Mirroring and annotations enhance interaction between the presenter and participants
  • Live statistics allow real-time session adjustments based on group comprehension
