Structures 3.0: A National Program for Digital Health

Structures 3.0 is a national program led by the French Digital Health Agency (ANS) and the Digital Health Delegation (DNS), within the framework of France 2030 and its Grand Challenges dedicated to healthy aging and mental health. Its goal: to identify, support and promote the most innovative and promising digital projects for the medico-social sector in France.

The program targets medico-social organizations developing digital solutions with a concrete impact on the quality of care for individuals. It provides a support framework, national visibility and assistance for scaling up.

8 Winners Out of 34 Applications

For the 2025 edition, 34 projects were submitted to the Structures 3.0 program. After a rigorous selection process, 8 winners were selected. easycare360, the VR care habituation project initiated by the Lab Saint-Hélier (Saint-Hélier Foundation) and technically developed by explorations360, is part of this selection.

Being selected among the 8 winning projects out of 34 applications confirms the relevance and maturity of the system. It represents a strong institutional recognition, adding to the scientific distinctions already received ( SOSS 2025 Scientific Award, Prix Galien 2025 selection).

Brittany Well Represented

As highlighted by Biotech Santé Bretagne, Brittany is particularly well represented among the winners, with three Breton organizations selected across two distinct projects:

  • Saint-Hélier Foundation (Rennes) and explorations360 (Saint-Brieuc) for the PrépaSoins VR (easycare360) project — VR care habituation for people with intellectual disabilities
  • GCSMS COMETE Bretagne (Lannilis) with the Speakli (CTSUR SAS) solution — an AI-powered voice dictation system for care reports in nursing homes

Biotech Santé Bretagne will support the progress of these projects in the coming months.

The Project: VR Care Habituation for Intellectual Disabilities

The project selected by Structures 3.0, referenced as PrépaSoins VR by the ANS, is easycare360, a VR-based care habituation solution for people with intellectual or cognitive disabilities, born from a Breton partnership between Lab Saint-Hélier (Saint-Hélier Foundation, Rennes) and explorations360.

The initial finding is alarming: 30% of medical consultations fail for these populations, and care avoidance is twice as high as in the general population. Anxiety about medical environments, fear of the unknown and sensory hypersensitivity constitute major barriers.

easycare360 addresses this problem through immersion: 360° videos filmed in real medical environments allow patients to become familiar with the consultation they will experience, from their living environment, before the actual appointment. The system covers 6 medical specialties (dental, ophthalmology, general medicine, nursing care, gynecology, prevention) and is controlled via tablet for personalized support.

Initiated by the Lab Saint-Hélier (Saint-Hélier Foundation) and technically developed by explorations360, the project was clinically evaluated with a protocol validated by the Rennes University Hospital Ethics Committee. The results are very positive, with a significant reduction in anxiety and better cooperation during actual consultations. The system is already deployed in the field, notably at the FAM de Chaudeboeuf.

Next Steps

The Structures 3.0 selection opens new perspectives for easycare360:

  • National support: the program provides a framework to structure large-scale deployment
  • Institutional visibility: the ANS/DNS certification strengthens the system's credibility with funders and facilities
  • New pilot facilities: the goal is to expand deployment to new medico-social facilities across France
  • Publication of clinical results: the complete evaluation data will be published soon

The easycare360 Care Habituation Kit is already available. Contact us for a demonstration or deployment in your facility.
