The Prix Galien is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of health and pharmaceutical innovation in France. Created in 1970, it recognizes the most significant advances in patient care each year. Being selected among the finalists is a major recognition of our work.

A Project Born from a Real Need
This project is the result of a close collaboration with the Saint-Hélier Foundation and the LAB Saint-Hélier in Rennes, which serves as its scientific lead. The goal: using virtual reality to prepare people with disabilities for medical and dental care.
For many patients with cognitive disorders or disabilities, a simple dental appointment can be a significant source of anxiety. Thanks to VR, they can gradually familiarize themselves with the care environment, the sounds, and the practitioner's gestures — in a safe setting and at their own pace.

explorations360, Technology Partner
explorations360 provides the technological building block for the project: our easystory360 platform enables the creation and distribution of 360° video habituation scenarios without any technical expertise. Care teams can thus adapt the content to the specific needs of each patient.
The complete setup — tablet-controlled VR headsets, customizable scenarios, session tracking — is already in use under real conditions at the Saint-Hélier Foundation.

Regardless of the ceremony's outcome, the simple fact of being selected among the Prix Galien finalists is already an immense source of pride and honor for the entire team. It is proof that this fieldwork, carried out every day alongside patients, is recognized at the highest level.
